Prison Break in Morocco – Nine Convicted Terrorists Make “Great Escape,” Digging Out with a Teaspoon

In a real-life prison break, nine convicted terrorists who escaped yesterday from a prison in Kenitra. Apparently, just as in the real-life WWII movie, they tunneled out using a teaspoon! They were convicted of involvement in the wave of 2003 Casablanca bombings. Police seem to be manning the checkpoints all over Morocco. I think the prisoners must have been watching Prison Break, one of the most popular shows in Morocco. Too bad the guards must not have been watching it!

Wow, incredible! I really can’t understand how this could happen…
The thing with the tea spoon sounds funny, but well, in fact it is really an awful story…
I haven’t seen Prison Break yet, but have heard about it… as far as I know it is popular everywhere. But I don’t like myself prison films, most of the time it is too “rude” for me and makes me feel very uncomfortable.

On a serious note: are they still at large? This is incredible. My view, unfortunately not shared by enough, is theyd been shot upon conviction, they could have fed their prison meals to Morocco’s poor, and saved a fortune trying to keep them locked up. I mean, they’re never going to “get better” are they? You’re not going to see one of them fall on his knees to Mecca and yell

“I’m sorry Allah, I’ve been a very naughty boy, I won’t blow anyone up again, I promise. I’ve just re-read the Koran and realised Islam is meant to be peaceful. My mistake.”

Determined evil must be struck down by swift and terrible retribution, or it will flourish, and return to haunt us all.
