How to Make a Manifestation Board – Feng Shui
Madame Monet’s Manifestation Board
Here is a picture of my Manifestation Board. (I’m standing in the upper left photo behind my husband. I’m also sitting at the table in the photo below it.)
Spend some time thinking about what you would like to see manifested in your life. Then look through magazines for pictures or words that represent those things. Cut them out and have them ready. This can also be a fun activity to do with a friend, or in a group (I hope our Feng Shui Club might do it at one of their meetings.)
Manifestation Boards are also known as Dream Boards, and Vision Boards. Rather than having vague, undefined goals, a Manifestation Board can help you clarify your goals, and focus your attention on them daily. The completed board should be placed in a location where you will see it daily. I keep my own board in my dressing room, next to my perfume tray, where I see it every morning.
On my own board, my goals were to get our own house, start finding regular time in my life for writing and painting, and increasing the good times together as a family.
Jayme Barrett, author of Feng Shui Your Life, recommends having a red board with a gold border. Not having access to framing material or bulletin boards where I live, I took several construction-paper-sized pieces of cardboard and spray painted them red. When they dried, I painted on a gold border. Then attach your photos, and/or inspirational words.
Here are a few examples of other people’s boards that I liked:
Jack Lee’s Manifestation Board:
A Manifestation Board from someone in England:
Turtleheart’s Manifestation Board:
Manifestation Board Designed by Cornelius Boertjens, of New Zealand:
If your goals are private, Jayme Barrett recommends putting your pictures/inspirational words inside a notebook (preferably red) that you can keep inside a desk drawer at work, or inside your purse. They key is to look at it every day.

Thanks for this–hadn’t heard of “Manifestation Boards” and have forwarded this to my wife, who’s an educator and creative artist.
Good post…

This is a fantastic idea! By adding images of the things you want in your life, you can begin to attract the energy of them (as well as the motivation to take steps toward your dreams). This, along with other Feng Shui practices will help you finally get what you want, at least, that’s what I’ve found. Come to http://www.ArtOfPlacement.com for some great advice.
