Toxic Trophy Wives Dumping Husbands Who Lose Money in This Economy

 

 According to a new article in the Telegraph, rich men who have recently lost much of their fortunes in the economic downturn are also losing their spoiled-brat toxic wives.

The supposed implicit contract in these relationships (according to the journalists writing the articles, and the individuals commenting on the articles) is that the men are  marrying for LOOKS, and expecting that those looks be MAINTAINED. 

In return, the wives (who may be stunning, but who have often married dumpy, middle-aged men) are marrying for MONEY and expecting the MONEY be maintained.  The men are ready to dump their trophy wives if those wives cannot maintain their LOOKS  (thus their wives’ excessive focus on grooming).  Now, with husbands needing their wives to make drastic cutbacks in spending MONEY, these same wives are ready to dump their husbands.
